Refund Policy

This refund policy applies to software licences sold by Original Minds AB through our payment provider, Paddle.

Your 14-day right to cancel

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. You do not need to justify your request.

This right applies to every purchase, including purchases made by customers outside the EU. It is offered as our standard commercial terms and is not limited to the statutory minimum.

What happens to your licence file when you refund

We want to be straightforward about this, because it affects what a refund actually means.

Our software has no activation server and does not contact us after you install it. That is a deliberate design choice: it means your licence keeps working regardless of what happens to this company or this website. It also means that once a licence file has been emailed to you, we have no technical ability to revoke or disable it.

When we issue a refund, we ask that you delete your licence file and stop using the software. We rely on your honesty here. We would rather trust our customers and keep the software free of activation servers, phone-home checks, and copy protection that punishes legitimate buyers.

Repeated refund requests from the same person, or evidence that a refunded licence remains in active use, may result in refusal of future purchases.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your order reference. The order reference is in the email that delivered your licence, and also inside the licence file itself.

You can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, since Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase and processed your payment.

Processing time

We aim to approve valid refund requests within 2 business days. Once approved, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. How long that takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 3 to 10 business days.

Refunds are issued in the original currency of the purchase. We do not compensate for exchange rate movements between purchase and refund.

After 14 days

We are not obliged to refund a purchase after 14 days. If something is genuinely broken, contact us anyway. We would rather fix the problem or make it right than have you stuck with software that does not work.

Try before you buy

Our plugins run in demo mode without a licence, so you can evaluate the full sound and workflow before paying. We recommend doing this. The demo has periodic audio interruptions but is otherwise complete and is not time limited.
