Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 22 August 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of software sold by Original Minds AB through this website. Please read them before buying.

Who we are

Original Minds AB
Company registration number: 559064-6807
Slånbärsslingan 22, 185 39 Vaxholm, Sweden
Email: [email protected]

Original Minds AB is a limited company registered in Sweden. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Original Minds AB. "You" refers to the person or organisation purchasing a licence.

Merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries relating to payment and handles returns of payment.

This means Paddle, not Original Minds AB, is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting sales tax and VAT on your purchase. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay, inclusive of any applicable tax.

What you are buying

You are buying a perpetual licence to use the software, not the software itself. We retain all copyright and intellectual property rights.

Your licence:

  • does not expire and is not a subscription
  • includes all future updates within the same major version series
  • may be installed on as many computers as you personally use
  • is issued to you by name and is personal to you

You may not resell, sublicense, rent, share, or redistribute your licence file. You may not distribute the software itself. You may use the software to produce commercial work, including commercial music releases, with no royalty or additional fee.

Licence delivery

Licence files are generated and emailed automatically, usually within a few minutes of purchase. If your licence has not arrived within one hour, check your spam folder, then contact [email protected] with your order reference and we will reissue it.

Our software contains no activation server and does not contact us after installation. Your licence will continue to work regardless of what happens to this website or this company. Keep your licence file somewhere safe. If you lose it, contact us and we will reissue it at no charge.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on all purchases. See our Refund Policy for full details, including an explanation of what a refund means for a licence file that has already been delivered.

System requirements

System requirements are stated on each product page. It is your responsibility to check that your system meets them before purchasing. We recommend evaluating the demo version first, which is free and not time limited.

Warranty and liability

We make the software available with reasonable skill and care, and we test it on the platforms listed on each product page. Beyond that, the software is provided as is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will meet a particular requirement of yours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of the software is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. We are not liable for lost work, lost revenue, lost recordings, or other indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under Swedish and EU consumer protection law.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it. You may not attempt to circumvent, forge, or tamper with the licensing mechanism, or distribute tools intended to do so.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase. Changes are not retroactive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought in your local courts.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
